What networks have you been part of that you like? What draws you to a network? What keeps you involved in a network? Please: Share your thoughts and ideas. Who knows where this will go...but I hope it grows to add to your personal empowerment in 2009.

Thanks Judy. I believe this is the perfect format for us to discuss issues that are relevant to the women of Manisteee County.
As I mentioned to you, I would like to start a focus group for women in the divorce process whether at the beginning, middle or end of the divorce. This may be a great way of determining if there are women interested in such a group.
I agree. Anyone interested in an informal get together to lend support, encouragement, information to other women dealing with divorce issues?
Gee, where have I been? I didn't know you had such a thing. But it is valuable in so many ways. First it assumes that what women actually DO is important - and not just to other women, and it is a very valuable record of what our area women are doing. And we are doing a lot. We always have, but when it is all put together, as you so skillfuly do, the importance of "women's work" for our community stands out. Thank you for your vision and your valuable contribution. I’m not sure if you have the capabilities yet, but it would be nice to have a business directory so everyone had contact information if you were looking for a certain type of service. A posting area for people who are looking for jobs would also be a valuable tool both for the job seeker and for us as employers.
