DETROIT (AP) - Ford has named its first female executive vice president in 102 years.
56-year-old Anne Stevens will serve as executive vice president and chief operating
officer for the Americas. It's a new position that makes her one of the highest ranking
women in the auto industry. Stevens has previously served as Ford's group
vice president of Canada, Mexico and South America. She joined the company in 1990.
Stevens will be in charge of product development, manufacturing and purchasing
